I opened the Fogadó in 2002. Every year my conviction has grown stronger that one should only aim for what’s best. We renovated the Fogadó and furnished it with state-of-the-art kitchen equipment; this kitchen is the workshop of one of the best chefs in the country, Zoltán Vidák, who uses only excellent ingredients to create his culinary delights.

The Fogadó is now a non-smoking area, but we have set up a cigar room for your convenience. In our guest-rooms you can marvel the unique series of twin-coloured copper-engravings from the private collection of a good friend of mine, created by the Transylvanian-born artist István Azary Prihoda (1891-1965).
Since we would like you to taste our excellent wines, we have an agreement with a chauffeur service which takes you home in your own car at a great price. My colleagues are here to attend to your every need. Come and see for yourself, this was all created for you!

Kind regards,
